FROM THE AIR

Mike Page's aerial photography

Mike's first experience of photography was in 1954 when he joined his school's Photography Club. When he learned to fly ten years later he extended his skills into aerial photography, recording on film changes in his native Norfolk landscape, both industrial and natural.

Whilst not strictly speaking historical, the photographs in this section do show what in years to come will be historical. It is with grateful thanks to Mike Page for giving permission for the photographs to be displayed on this website. All photographs are his copyright and should not be copied without his permission.

Below are a few of the images of Tasburgh that Mike has taken over the years.

Besides Tharston, Mike has photographed many Norfolk villages including Tharston, Swainsthorpe, Shotesham, Saxlingham and Newton Flotman, a few photos shown below.

The photos above are just a very small selection of the 130,000+ in Mike's collection. He has also produced books and DVDs of Norfolk from the air.
